I'm Lauren — a qualified therapist with a genuine passion for supporting teenagers through some of life's most challenging moments. I know how overwhelming adolescence can feel, and I believe that with the right tools and the right space, every young person can find their calm and step into their confidence.
I hold a degree in Psychology and a Diploma in Hypno CBT from the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. Before training as a therapist, I spent 20 years as a teacher — which means I genuinely understand how young people think, communicate, and learn. That experience shapes everything I do at Sprout.
At Sprout, I combine evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with therapeutic hypnosis — a clinically informed approach that uses focused relaxation to help teenagers engage more deeply with the change process. My sessions are warm, conversational, and always tailored to the individual.

How many sessions will my teenager need?
This varies depending on the individual and their goals. Some young people notice real change in 4–6 sessions; others prefer a longer programme. We'll discuss this together in the initial consultation and review progress as we go.
Is hypnosis safe for teenagers?
Yes — therapeutic hypnosis is a gentle, completely safe technique that teenagers often respond to very well. It's simply a state of focused relaxation. Your teen will always be in control and fully aware throughout.
